[5641] crash replacing file in browser (fixed)

Drag something (device etc) out of the browser, edit it, drag it back to where it came from
Live will append filename with -1
Delete -1 press enter, Live will ask "replace?"
Press "o" for OK Live will crash

I can't reproduce that. Does it happens always, for you? Are you using a Mac or a PC? In any case, could you send a corresponding crash report to beta@ableton.com, with a reference to this thread?

I can do it 100% of the time, just checked b25 still happens.
Drag device into Live, drag back to browser.
Live appends filename with "-1" remove that so file name is identical to what it was,
press enter to confirm, Live asks "replace file?" OK crashes Live every time here.

In Live 8.0b27, we fixed a crash that could happen when saving preset.
So please try if you can still reproduce that crash in Live 8.0b27.

Just saw this, I don't whether anyone's still reading it.

I can confirm that this is happening on my PC too in 8.0.1. I have reported it to support, with crash logs, but alas they could not replicate the problem there. Even though it happens every time I try to save anything with the same name as already in the browser.

Win XP SP2 Intel P4E 3GHz 2GB

8.0.4 (release) still get it.

Only happens on my DAW with "TinyXP" (Win XP SP2) on my Laptop SP3 it's OK.
