MIDI mapping of "cents" control?
Just a thought, from another thread: if it were possible to map the fine pitch control to a MIDI CC, one could conceivably use that as a method of pitch correction, rather than using an external plug-in. If a note in an otherwise good vocal were a bit off, you could use a MIDI track to raise/lower the pitcth by a few cents & then put it back again.

I found out recently that this actually is already a feature. If you go to the clip editor where you can adjust timing and click the little automation doohickey on the bottom left, it gives you a couple of lists of automatable clip settings, and you can select tuning as an option and automate it. Depending on the pitch shifting mode (using complex, for example), you can get smooth pitch slides. The editor moves things in semitones by default, but by holding shift you can move the automation points by cent.
Since its a per-clip setting, Ableton doesn't let you automate it in the arrangement, which for years made me think this wasn't even a feature. It would be nice if the automation of clip settings could be driven by the arrangement view as well.
