[Mac Trackpad] Changing Device Parameters With Two Finger

Post by Der_Landvogt » Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:43 am

While using a MacBook Pro with Ableton 11 for music production and mixing I noticed that many third party plug-ins (for example the FabFilter and the Valhalla stuff) have this feature where you can change any parameter by just hovering the cursor over it and then sroll up and down with two fingers on the trackpad. I'm well aware that this is only a very minor feature but I really like it. No need to do the dodgy "press the trackpad with your thumb and then scroll with your finger"-thing 8)
Would love to have that feature for the native Ableton Devices as well. Maybe I'm not the only one who thinks it would be neat

You can do this native on a Mac in the accessibility settings. I have mine set so if I place two fingers on the pad my third finger adjust whatever I’ve hovered over. Works for every thing in every application. I forget what it’s called but if you google around a bit it’ll pop up.
