Is there anyway to create a new chain in a drum rack directly from the Push 2 to layer drums?
If in Ableton I create a two chains on the same pad with different samples on then it's easy enough to edit or swap the samples out directly from the Push; but I can't work out how to load two samples onto the same pad directly from the beast itself.
Any ideas?
I guess I could save a default drum rack that already has 3 or 4 chains on one pad and duplicate the pad when I need to layer samples (an idea which just came to me as I type); but would love to know how to create a duplicate chain if anyone has the know-how.

So that idea is a bit pants. It works but you can't adjust one sample's parameters while playing the key.Abuwabu wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 1:14 pmI guess I could save a default drum rack that already has 3 or 4 chains on one pad and duplicate the pad when I need to layer samples (an idea which just came to me as I type); but would love to know how to create a duplicate chain if anyone has the know-how.
Onward...
I tried an instrument rack with 4 chains of drum racks in and that works great.
I'd still like to know if you can add another chain to either an instrument rack or drum rack directly from the Push 2 though if anyone has any ideas?

Sorry, but it's not possible. From Push, you can only add stuff to new pads/cells or swap an already existing one.

Thanks for the confirmation jur.
I'm guessing that's the same for creating new chains in an instrument rack?
