Just a note: Cubase 11 has ARA too, uses it for included Spectral Layers... PLUS is has already very good vocal pitch correction (VariAudio3) and also vocal alignment tool on-board. S1 comes with Melodyne essential as plugin.

I've always found this a weird omission. Live is fun for pitch shifting, but it's not surgical, and Melodyne etc. is great for surgical fixes.

These days, I have started using Bitwig Studio too. Both these DAWs are amazing - they are easy to use, have great workflows, and give so much creative possibilities!
Both of them have comping, but none of them has native pitch correction. The first one who implements native pitch correction will likely be my main DAW for years to come...

A lot of people have been requesting this.
Come on Ableton... Now that MPE and M1 Support have been added, ARA2 is essential for those working with Melodyne.
Live users don't want to have to purchase and learn a new DAW just for that feature.

PCMag has listed lack of pitch correction tools as one con of an otherwise "powerful all-in-the-box solution for composing and performing live music":

ARA2 yes, yes...
But I also vote for a build-in pitch correction, basic, monophonic, fast and easy to use.
Feature-wise like Melodyne Essential, maybe even less, but Ableton style.

Yes. Ableton style. I own Melodyne, but I've never truly loved the editor.MallorcaMalle wrote: ↑Fri May 27, 2022 3:11 pmARA2 yes, yes...
