Set how many bars/beats will recrded on an audio clip
Hi...
Don't found any similar topic.
In SESSION mode, I wish a feature to set how many bars/beats the next record will be.
For example, on stage with a multi In/Out audio interface, we can't easily record one track of guitar for 2 bars, one of bass for 1 bar, one of percussions for 3 beats only, on just one action.
With a feature like this, we just have to set first clip to record only 2 bars, the second to record only 1 bar, and the last one to record only 3 beats then get start record.
While each clip arrived to its duration set, it's automatically stop rec and start play loops with each own value.
So? Who votes for it's feature?

I want users to have the power to determine their own default new clip length when creating new midi clips (by double clicking empty session slot).
1 bar loops I think is limiting for most people and it is a workflow killer having to adjust each clip one by one to four bars when you know most of your clips are going to be four bars long.

this feature--kinda--exists.
no?
if you have quantization set to 2 bars, you double tap to trigger the clip. the first triggers. the second, after 2 bars, stops.
