How hard is it to implement Automap Universal Mixer control? I am surprised that Tracktion and Reaper feature this but not Live. Also Logic and Cubase, Live's big competition, feature this. I would think it's an absolutely essential feature that would take full advantage of the wonderful innovation that is Automap 3. Is this feature purposely not implemented because of the upcoming APC? Please, Ableton, implement Automap mixer control in Live 8!

It seems that Ableton and Novation are aren't talking to each other, Automap Universal is pretty much crippled in live!

Thanks for your response. To have mixer control would be a major work flow improvement, and a positive selling point. But I sense that it's not being supported due to the new APC controller. I wish they would just support both. Would be a great time saver and an excellent performance booster for those of us with Novation controllers.

I say all let's make this a petition to have Automap 3 mixer control as standard in Live 8.

I want it ! Control aver mixer section and live built in fx.

i literally just got my novation and am loving it.. so yeah ++1 apc will be cool but as far as dialing up the innermost features of my vst's with actual text labels and zoinking my sounds super quick theres no comparison

"normally" you send an e-mail and get a response that it was fwded. and that's dead end.

From Novation Tech Support: "All the automap sequencer templates (Reason, Ableton, Logic etc.) were built by the DAW manufacturers themselves. We at Novation hope to work together with Ableton in the future to develop the Live template, but it is not really something we can complete single handed. We do require a certain amount of input from Ableton themselves."

So c'mon my lovely Ableton, how about Automap Mixer control in Live 8 and a better Live template for Novation users? It surely can't be that hard eh? Tracktion has it, Reaper has it, why not Live?

Let's stay on this guys and keep bumping it until we get a response!

It changes a great deal. Now, how can we organize ourselves so that efforts do get result?
I mean, do can we do anything more than this obligatory bumping.
