Change Simpler and Impulse Presets by Clip Automation!

this seems such an important feature...

ableton staff could you please explain why this is not possible?

well, I know I could create a new track with a new simpler or impulse instrument, but this just doesn't seems right... I would end up with like 10 tracks for 10 different drum loops... this would be like creating a new track for every audio sample... go furtherer than other programs, please!

equal rights for midi and audio!

or maybe I have to buy a 17" powerbook to have enugh screen width

I HATE horizontal scrolling!

i agree.

for now, i workaround it by having one audio track next to one midi track and just rendering the loops to audio, while keeping the midi loops in the set and putting the preset name in the clip name.

rendering the loops isn't what we are looking for, but I guess I'll have to do the same...
I want to use the impulse like a real drummachine!
I want to be able(ton) to mute individual tracks etc...
well I hope the abletons are listening!

yes please this seems very importent...not only to save screenspace but also midi controler space!!! could use 10 tracks but that would be 10 assignments on the midi controler as well
