Save Group!
Save Group!
I know this sounds simple, but I think it would be great if you could save a track Group as a seperate file. That way, if you come of with a group of tracks that you want to use as sort of a construction kit, you could open it in whatever set you want.
Anyone out there agree with me?
Is there already a way to do this?
So far the workaround that I have found is to "Copy" the group that I want, open the set that I want the Group to be in, create a new audio track, and then "Paste" it into that new track. It just seems like having the ability to actually save a Group would cut down on those little individual steps. Having the ability to actually save a group just seems more logical.

Re: Save Group!
can't you drag tracks into the library?...Yep, you can
Drag whatever group you want into library/clips/construction kits, since you want to save it as a construction kit. You can save it anywhere though

Thanks. I didn't realize you could do that.

Re: Save Group!
i have a special folder for groups that i like
and i can keep going back to them to kickstart new tunes more quickly
very handy to be able to drag a group with a bunch of template drum machines etc into a new live set

Re: Save Group!
Is there any way to save a clip to the library without saving the track settings? I want to separate songs for djing into clip groups and keep them into the library but if I drag the clips onto my "deck" track, all the settings are replaced.

Re: Save Group!
this happens only on blank channels/if there still no are any further clips in the track. settings should remain as is if there is already a clip in the channel.dantaylr wrote:Is there any way to save a clip to the library without saving the track settings?
