You can key map it too...

How is it not useful? What functionality do you want out of it that key mapping doesn't provide?

i want a GENERAL solo button, not a channel-specific one.

let's say i have 8-16 channels in a song and every now and then i want to solo them: it's extremely unpractical having to map each channel's solo button to a key / midi control.
no way.

if there's a way to map a key / control to perform "general solo", let me know and i'll be very happy as well as "" here

i will be getting the APC40 when i get enuff cash, so maybe that'll fix the problem.
