Definitely my number one request for the next version. :D

Envelope templates... think kontakt

e.g. Create triangle waveform with period 2T, would be a nice alternative to a standalone lfo component.

yes this was the one of two half working features in 8!

the first was that fades are limited to clip's length
and the second is this with the looper :/

you forgot to add this to audio rack:

Audio rack - be able to send a channel to specific chain inside a rack, like you can do with midi racks and midi tracks (or audio to midi with a midi audio throughput).

;)

1. Groove Pool -> Automatable Groove Parameters for all params (random, quantize, timing etc)

2. *ALL* Racks -> Controllable amount of macros (from 0, to as many as you want) being stuck at 8 is frustrating, especially if your trying to build some modular crazy drum machine or sequencer or something.

2. Midi Effect -> Pre Delay (inserts an amount of time before note is triggered), you can do this now with a work around (chord + arp + velocity + length) but it would be so much nicer + more cpu friendly to have a midi effect that did it for you.

4. Midi Effects Rack -> Input from and output to CC's, values get saved in rack

5. More CPU friendly in general

thanks ableton! :)

have a nice day

I wouldn't mind seeing a "switchboard" Macro control for all the Racks, but particularly for Instrument and Effect Racks. Something along the line of the buttons on the Combinator in Reason that could then be mapped to toggle whatever you want in the Rack. I mean, I've got all these buttons, so I should use them, right?

+1!!

I see a lot of racks built where knobs are used as switches. A right click option "Knob or button" would be a killer option!

you mean to select any number of audio clips from browser - session or arrangement / right click and "load to sampler"?
(a new track will be created with a sampler in it and all previously selected samples loaded?

Is growing fast

there may be 1000+ requests after a month or 2 lol!

** if we get a 10% of all these features in 9, it will be cool
