- if the metronome is left ON when the set is saved, I think it should be ON when you open the set.
or, at the least, allow metronome ON or OFF to be a preference

i think so too.
i'm using live to play along playback and live synths.
having to turn on the metronome even after switching projects
is REALLY annoying.
in fact, there should be no discussion about this.
besides, this featuer is also ridiculously easy to implement..

Re: leave metronome ON by default
I´m still on Ableton 7 because i started with this version my current production.
And what makes me nuts is the Song-follow is often de-activating when i´m working in Clip-Mode.
This is super annoying!
So please dont forget such small enhancements compared to requested Big ones.
What i found usefull for getting deeper into the Audio is convienient Group Editing (more than Strg e), Comping, one click and i have every bar of the song visible without scrolling with the mouse all the time. Disabeling the colorfull bars in order to see audio only.
64bit is cool too but when i see the real producers introduced in audio magz and what kind of computer hardware they are using i´m really surprised and ask myself if not in the amateur semi-prof. goes sth wrong with the requested hardware power....

I hear ya... remember you can always make your own metronome/click sound on a track and route it to the output of your choice. You could save it in your Template Song too, then it'll always be where you want it.ppeople wrote:i think so too.
