Piano Roll Beats and Bars...

Post by iloyd2 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 5:25 pm

The bar lines in the piano roll looks no different than the beat lines. It's making really hard to read it if the clip is longer than a couple of bars.

Making bar lines more recognizable would be a small but important improvement.

Agreed.
Those darn lines can be pesky to click on.
I'd also add that if you have multiple sample hits in slot, each bar should be a different color (assuming each sample has a different volume), with the "tallest" one in the background.

The whole Live interface is due for an overhaul.

We're long past the days of sh1tty computers.

Some laptops have 1GB dedicated graphics cards.

Ableton .. you're already established .. you don't have to settle for sh1tty graphics anymore.
