disable all clips and effects within a group

for a live set i would like to be able to disable all clips and effects with in a group.
here is why:
i would like to have around 10 group tracks within live, each group would be a set or song within it self, complete with effects.
i would like to switch from group to group with a midi controller.
when i switch from group one to group two, group one would turn off all tracks within it self so only group two would be playing.
so while group one is playing groups 2-10 would be disabled
when group 2 is playing group one would be disabled along with groups 3-10

confused?
:)

i just think this would be a better way for a guitarist to perform live with out having to load a new set for each song...
or have to worry about cpu power when loading 10 sets into one set.

This should be very easily achievable with midi and/or keymapping, in fact I'm sure I have read about someone who uses the numbers on their keyboard. So 1 controls the channel mutes, and the device on/off for everything in your 'group 1'.

If you are building a set you care about then this would be a small consideration/hassle to make it work. Unless I'm missing something? :)

this is possible with bitwig. just hit "c" on the keyboard and a group will be disabled using no cpu, hit c again to enable.

Ableton is so behind, it's frustrating
