Adding audio effects that are off

I'd love a way to add an effect that is Off while recording, so the whole time before that effect is added the effect is automated as off, and therefore not mess up what was going on beforehand. Right now if you add an effect that is off while recording, the effect is automatically turns on before that point, so unless you go through and change the automation the track won't play back correctly.

did you try and save it in off status as default preset?

yeah, the on off status is always on before the effect when you add it in arrangemen, even if the effect is saved as off

+1 for saving off state with preset!

Most plugins have dry/wet options. Perhaps you could use them until this feature will be implemented.
