Got the US428 two days ago and I'm running the Live demo on a 300MHz iBook with 160 Mb RAM. I was surprised how well it runs on this machine - love a G4 though!
The Sliders on the 428 can be assigned to the pan pots and the sliders in Live OK . Not much success with the AUX and FUNC buttons on the 428 or using the SOLO and REC buttons - but I'll post again when I've had a bit of time to play around with all the parameters. 30 minutes is not a huge amount of time to experiment with new software/hardware combinations. But I've got Live on order to change that.
Don't forget you can assign keys on the keyboard to trigger clips, so maybe its enough to use the audio I/O of the 428 and real sliders!
