collapsable tracks

A single button at the very top of each track where it says either midi or audio would be cool. press it to collapse the track width in half. I get around 16 tracks maximum on screen and that's seriously not enough. Most of my projects go well into 30 tracks or more, and it's a real drag, literally getting around them all. Once a track/clip is recorded in i no longer really need to see all of it's details, just the clip launch button, clock and level meter. All of that could be seen in a track half the width.

And is it just me or is it common to have a large black area on the side of the browser once it's hidden away? it takes up almost a full tracks width.

variable width tracks would be "nice" also.
