Clip management improvements

Post by yannxou » Sat Oct 08, 2011 10:34 am

Here are some features I'd like to see in future versions regarding clip management:

1. Option to Consolidate clips from the Session View (via right-click menu).

2. Option to export (render) multiple clips at once (via the File->Export menu or right-click menu)

3. Support for drag&drop clips to a Finder window (in MAC) to automatically export (render) them.

4. Drag&Drop a Midi Clip into an Audio Track to automatically render it.

5. Option to merge multiple Midi Clips into one Clip (using the length of the longest one and repeating notes if other clips have loop enabled). Envelopes could be merged too or take the ones from the first clip in selection if the same parameter is automated in various clips.
Live 9 Suite / MaxForLive / MacBook Black 2.4Ghz / 4Gb RAM / OSX 10.7.5 / Motu828 mk1 / MicroKONTROL / Midisport 4x4 / Korg Kaoss Pad II / Nocturn / Wiimote.

6. Option to seperate each note in a midi clip into multitracks with the instrument loaded into each new track. For example, I have a drum part I want to put each sound on a different track, it would be nice to just be able to right click the clip and do this automatically.
