Mixer in arrangement view

Post by headroom resistance » Sun Jan 29, 2012 8:19 am

an option of viewing or to get full access of the mixer in arrangement view, instead of switching between session & arrangement view. especially if you don't have a midi or DAW controller.

I don't get it... Why would you want a mixer taking up screen real estate in arrangement when you can just hit tab and bang, there it is...?

I know what you mean. But I prefer to have my eyes in the arrangement view when controlling the mixer.

I know whar you mean. But I prefer to have my eyes in the arrangement view when controoling the mixer.
Fair enough, to each his own. I prefer to have a full screen for arranging and I actually prefer to mix without seeing the arrangement, so I'm relying more on my ears to hear what's going on.

Ok, I understand. I always doubt a little bit the perceiption of my ears, as I don't have an acoustic perfect sounding working situation as a mastering studio does have.
Than listening only would be ok for me. Thats why I prefer to see arrangement, mixer and a spectrum analyser at a (one) glance.

Get a second screen--see both at the same time. :D
