It would be useful to have CC Mapping templates available to add to a MIDI track which would convert Input CC messages from an ableton default template to default templates for individaul hardware.
An exmaple would be:
Controller sends CC#1 - Ableton template sends CC#105 for one instrument
User changes selected track to another instrument - Controller sends CC#1 - Ableton sends CC#25
Users should be able to share their created templates on the forum to build up a deification collection of all current and legacy hardware.
In addition it would be nice for each track to have a 'midi return' to send feedback, exchanging the CC messages as above in reverse, back to a controller rather than creating a new track.
