Mouse Wheel Support!
Mouse wheel support
When highlighting a knob or any parameter for that matter...
Maybe an option for middle mouse button to reset the parameter back to default. With a toggle button in options for people who have accidents. Just a simple on and off.
Click the middle mouse button on a line of automation to add a node, and use the wheel to adjust the curve level.
In the note editor the middle button could work as an eraser tool.
Second time i asked apparently don't even remember this. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=119069&p=937084#p937084

While not entirely necessary (And you don't want to clutter Live with useless features,) it seems like this might be worth it. I'd much rather twist my mouse wheel then my trackball's ball. It's really awkward when I'm at my friend's place and I don't have my Midi controller.

On the faders at least!
Every time I use Live I'm doing this intuitively, because the other DAW I use DP8 does this,
and it's as old as the hills (27yrs) compared to new kid Live.....

+1 This seems an easy update ableton... C'mon. Constantly going back and forth to the keyboard arrows for this usually. Speed up workflow.

Re: Mouse Wheel Support!
We have the year 2017... and guess what - still no mouse wheel support.
Every crap plugin has this little fine feature, but ableton still sleeping or ignore user wishes for better usage.
Maybe its time to move to a modern DAW? I mean, its not impossible to activate mouse wheel support ... oh maby for ableton it is because of inability.
But the standard answer from ableton is always: we have barely resources and work hard to implement new things... bla bla bla. Even small things like mouse wheel support you cant implement, so what are you doin all the time? Only PUSH? lol Edit: In german we call this 'Armutszeugnis'

Which exact crap plug-ins? What can you do with it? Most plug-ins aren't zoomable.crock80 wrote:We have the year 2017... and guess what - still no mouse wheel support.

A standard answer from Ableton? No answer, yes. An answer? I don't believe that for a minute. Proof?
Also, what makes you think Ableton should support something as antiquated as a mouse? Who's using a mouse when there's trackpads with gestures that don't work in Ableton? It's such a more convenient way to not be able to zoom and pinch.
