logic doesn't (or didn't)
yes logic has it.
but logic is annoying as hell for a hundred other reasons.
but it has multi-part editing.

plus a gazilion, i SO miss this from logic, it's like the basics of midi sequencing, every DAW does this for like 10 years

Actually, nobody making anything musical who plays their instrument into the software (rather than ticking notes in with a mouse),
is using Live for writing.

As soon as you have one chord track recorded,
and one Bass track recorded,
editing those two parts so they agree with each other..

reminds me of a very long time ago when DAW's just started.

dude, it's okay, seriously though...
there are good reasons for this feature request.
mainly: it teaches you, and it goes well with PLAYING NOTES IN.

i'm all fo rthis feature, i miss it a lot from logic, i was just saying, even people playing their real instruments can use live for composition, and that feature is a must when composing/arranging

If drums were the only MIDI, not a bad job on them.

Logic has it, although it is not implemented well.

Pro Tools has it, although, again, it is not implemented well.

aaaaaaaannnnd... BITWIG has it as well!!!!

Implemented the best in Bitwig, in my opinion. Quite a nice feature to use :-)

Adrian Myers wrote:Agreed. This is is pretty standard (Reaper/Cubase/StudioOne/Logic/etc), and is an extremely valuable feature.
Only Studio One, Pro Tools, Sonar and FL Studio make it proper.
