Better late than never I say. The more support for this idea the better; you should also head over to the beta forum (suggestion section) and vote on the idea. It needs help and has far less votes than I thought it would get compared to some of the stuff nerd the top of the pile.

With the new Push MkII here now with the amazing changes to Simpler, I think it might be pertinent to bump this.

I love the changes made that allows duplicating/deleting pads in the drumrack, but I would still love to see direct recording to Pads.
