Could be really cool to have some pseudo-clips only for enveloppes in group tracks.

Just put an audio clip in there with the clip volume level turned down to zero.

That's not possible, think you misunderstood me: when you group tracks ("command G" on a Mac), there is a new track appearing, I usually put some automated FX on it and those are the enveloppes I can not import in session view.
I know the way to arround it, with an input track, not even neccessary to mute the clips on it, but I really like the "Hide/show grouped tracks" button in groups :))

So, an other idea? :)

Not off the top of my head, yeah you lose the ability to fold it. Hmmm..
