Bring back shortcuts in browser, please!

I use shortcuts in my sample library to cross reference and find exactly what I need without having to dig through my entire library, or duplicate GB's worth of WAV's. The most obvious solution was to painstakingly go through and create shortcuts in my library a few weeks ago. Now in Live 9, the browser will not recognize these. Why?
