Improved scale support

1. flag or set the scale in a clip so it can be easily determined after the fact.
2. fold the piano roll to the current scale (currently on push, but maybe on the clip in the future), or add another button like fold called 'scale'

I can actually see this happening now that Push and many other controllers have scale support.

This feature would be a natural evolution of Live.

+1.

Studio One has an excellent Midi Scale option that snaps all notes when editing to the current scale.

Almost every music app on iOS has some kind of scale fold. Would it make ableton into to much of a toy? or just useful?

Very true, how scales work in S1 is Amazing. Ableton could learn a thing or 2 from them.
