It would be nice if you can scroll the effects on both sides with the mouse. In general, the mouse should be much more to scroll! :)

What do you mean by 'scroll the effects'?

Using a track pad to scroll back and forth in the device section works.

Yeah, that's probably what he means.

There are a few ways you can do it.

1. With a trackpad or magic mouse on a mac. Not sure about PCs.

2. see August and September here http://www.macableton.com/features/tip- ... h-archive/.

3. drag the device overview or device view selector. You probably know this one

4. I personally use keyboard scrolling. I use the arrow keys if I want to scroll right handed, or QAWS if I want to scroll left handed. This is mac only. Tutorial here:

I mean, if you hold the pointer over the selection of plug-ins that you no longer have to push the mouse but that you can easily scroll with the wheel. The same can be expected in some other fields also.

I don't push a mouse anywhere, I threw mine in the bin two years ago.

How do you normally scroll from left to right (the effects you mentioned are only scrolled horizontally)?

I'm assuming you are on PC. You might be able to get some kind of trackpad for a PC that scrolls in both vertical and horizontal directions.

What we are saying is that you can scroll in both directions in Live with an Apple magic mouse or trackpad already. And I mostly use keyboard scrolling.

I produced my Music on the PC.(not Mac) I type my "problem" to Ableton in Berlin and they understand my wish. I have no trackpad etc.. I will scroll with my mouse. Do you see the small window in the left corner of your screen in Live? In this window, you can move your window to different effects and plug-ins. You must move your mouse and you can´t scroll it with your mousewheel in the horizontal directions to the next effect. Of course, i can scrolling different things with my keyboard.

I assume you mean this

The apple trackpad doesn't scroll in the little window (Device View Selector) either. I scroll directly in Device View where the effects are. I either use the Apple trackpad or the computer keyboard but these are mac-only.
