Non Indexed folders in Browser

Post by iloyd2 » Wed May 08, 2013 2:32 pm

With Live 9 we lose the simple browsing experience of files in a harddrive. Indexing makes sense for building libraries. But what about cases like:

You are designing sounds on the go in a different app. You're saving them on desktop and simply wanna drag drop those to sampler for testing? Right now you either have to use finder or you have to have whole desktop indexed where you might not wanna do this for several reasons.

Whenever there is a case that you just wanna drop a file outside an indexed folder into a live device/project it's a pain. An option of having folders on the browser without indexing or a simple old school browsing tab would be a solution for this.
