The way audio and midi events look now in the arrangement view is looking like its 1996. There is no reason not to make clips in the arrangement view look more like they do in Logic or Protools. Computers and graphics cards can handle it just fine and have been able to do so for decades and it will most of our lives so much more easy in the arrangement view.
So come on now.... Requested over and over since 2007 and with good reason. Ableton has left it out over and over with every update seemingly wiyhout any good reason! When will it finally come? Do we have to wait till Live 11 comes out or something??
