3 Major things Ableton should have

Post by HamHat » Thu Sep 12, 2013 8:22 am

1. Grid snapping on automation, this one is a no brainer. Music is all about math and precision, the fact that Ableton doesn't support this yet is baffling...

2. The ability to control multiple volume faders with one click. I know you can set up a macro but that's not convenient for work flow, and turning down the master is the worse idea ever.

3. Vst 3 support. vst 2 is now being discontinued and I would like to use new plug ins when they come out, also a lot of x32 bit plugs are going straight to vst 3 for the x64 upgrade.

You can kinda do the snap.

Highlight the boxes and move down, I know it'd not work flow but it works.

I do agree tho, with all you say.

1. agree

2. you can select multiple tracks (by holding the shift key while you click on the track titles) then when you adjust a control on one it will adjust the same control on the other selected channels.

3 agree

Weird that is working for me now but if I have a group channel selected it doesn't always work. Thanks for the tip.
