Examples?

I make decent trap with Ableton.

It definitely has a killer piano roll for Trap once you learn it. I own Maschine and use mainly the library. Drum Racks + Piano Roll in Live is Trap heaven.

Only gripes is the user library isn't Trap focused but that said most Trap artists use VSTs such as Nexus/Gladiator/Sylenth for their sounds vs built in DAW stuff.

That said better soundfont compatibility would help as some Trap artists are heavy soundfont users and FL Studio probably the most popular DAW for Trap has an excellent Soundfont player.

That said many of the synths in Trap could be done with Operator/Analog as most Trap synths are fairly simple.
