Hi there.
In Live 8 the list of external Audio Unit and VST plug-ins could all be expanded at the same time, but in Live 9 it's only possible to see the list of plug-ins from ONE manufacturer at the time. Why?
Please change this back to the previous behaviour, where the user can choose whether to close or open the list from specific folders/manufacturers.
It should be possible to see ALL of the plug-ins at the same time and then choose one for the sounds or effects you want - now you have taken this opportunity away. Probably by mistake, I hope.
So please fix this ASAP, since it's a severe limitation that is totally unneeded, and one that the user should have control over, not the software.
I know that it's possible to expand multiple directories when hitting CMD/Ctrl, but the problem is that I then have to do this EVERY time I open up Live, for ALL of the directories. This is very very inconvenient, since I have something like 30 manufacturer folders in there.
Live 8 remembered the state of this list between application sessions, so the user didn't have to expand it each and every time. Can you please make it so Live 9 does the same? I think it's probably an easy task for your programmers.
If not we have to click 30+ times to see our plugins each and every time we open the program, and that is extremely inconvenient.
Thank you!

I mostly don't miss it, but I agree it should definitely be an option. Also, a favourites folder and tagging system would make things easier, as suggested here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=204673

just save ur plugins in effect/instrument racks and make a folder for it in ur user library

I came to this very subforum to make this very request. I'd very much appreciate an "expand all" feature in all aspects of using the browser.
