Leave session rec ON !!!!!!!!!!

please please please....
hit STOP, it goes OFF. It's just not logical. And on the project i am working on, i record hundreds of small midi clips, overdubbing them. Honestly i have to click on the Session Rec button, 2450 times an hour.
