Ableton has an option that prevents PC from sleeping, but MS introduced new feature called "Fast Resume" - computer actually does not go to sleep, but switches off, ableton's "allow sleep mode" does not work in this case.
So, the case is follow:
1) I'm using any tablet which uses "fast resume" function (surface or yoga for example)
2) I'm playing the live on ableton using my midi controller - tweeking the knobs, pushing buttons
3) I'm not interacting with the PC itself - no screen touches
4) Tablet is going to fast sleep.

Did this problem ever get fixed?
I found this because I searched today for posts about using a Windows tablet with Ableton Live.
