Hide/Unhide tracks

Requested this a few times but lets do it again:

It would be nice to be able to hide channels so that you would need less up/down scrolling with large projects.

Yes. Another cool idea would be something like the browser's search (ctrl+f) for tracks. Let's say half my tracks are hidden and collapsed, and I want to edit a hidden track's automation: I could then enter the track name/number somehow, and it would be revealed unfolded.

Is there any way yet to deactivate whole channels? To save on CPU when you have alternative routing ideas in the same project?

I get around the hide bit by using group busses.
