You again?

I disagree wholeheartedly. Fuck the launchpad drumrack layout. Use the Push layout and play the chords in the middle, instead of in the most awkward place possible.

Also if you want something ergonomical, get a god damn piano.

I obviously already have a piano, and has been playing piano for decades. With that, it should put in perspectives why I would be trying out this new way of playing notes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're just close minded, unable to see the potentials of future possibilities.
I've also spent decades playing piano, and I've given the launchpad layout a fair shot over the past 6 years. I also tried the old LPC layout, which is worse than launchpad or push lol.
You might very well apply your logic to MPCs. "Just get a drumset" but you can't play non-drum sounds or have thousands of samples at your disposal with a drum set can you? Oh, wait you can using audio detectors and such, and use another controller to change banks. But then again, you might as well "Just get a MPC".
No, I would say "Get an electronic drum set."
You can clearly see in the video I posted how easy and non-awkward it is. Compared to Push's chromatic sequent layout where I have to stretch or use two hands to play a simple 3 note chord.
The launchpad is annoying because there is a break between the top left and the bottom right. Sure, you can manage if you don't have to cross this gap, but anyone that has played with it for 5 minutes realizes what a limitation this is.

Also you are playing the wrong fucking inversions on the Push layout. The chord shapes are so intuitive and playable if you do it right. AND THEY ARE CONSISTENT FOR ALL CHORDS WITH NO AWKWARD BREAKS IN THE CONTROLLER!

But yeah, I guess they should probably give you the option of using the launchpad layout on Push... but on the other hand.... just get a Launchpad ;)
