Clip Used to control key signature/ scale

Post by bodhi71 » Tue Jun 30, 2015 7:26 pm

Sorry if this has already been posted before, but I don't think so.

Much like being able to change tempo or time signature, it would be cool to name a clip and have the scale or key change when that clip is launched.

The idea is a work around for faster switching between scales and keys or with the use of follow actions, allowing key/scale changes to occur in sync with a song.

Great idea, it is sound. Make it happen. :-)

I'd prefer the ease of just renaming a clip with the info and enter, without the additional bloat of Max for Live. C Lydian enter. Since this is a feature request, I just want to present this to whoever looks at these things from Ableton.
The Max for Live effect looks like a decent workaround, thanks for sharing.
