Use Push Convert button to Freeze tracks

I'm loving Push 2.
Imagine using the convert button to freeze a midi track (or an audio track with it's effects), then converting the frozen track into a flattened audio track, followed by more access to clip parameters like :2 and *2 etc... would be great for general sound mangling.
The resultant audio could be effected, frozen again, maybe re-pitched, and re-sliced. Tell me that doesn't sound like fun?
