I think they are lagging behind on some important topics. MPE support is one of them as more and more controllers start to emerge with MPE support. Vst 3 support and vst sandboxing for stability are also way behind.

I hope to see Ableton get back on track and surprise us. A big thanks to the Bitwig guys for pushing things forward. This will motivate the Ableton team even more to stay in the race with the other DAW'S.

Totally Agree! we need to at least get a special collapsed track preset maybe.. but would love to see MPE natively supported!

Push & Seaboard is an amazing combo. Or would be, if live supported mpe and it wasn't as much of a pita to set up and record with it as it is now. It's not enough pain to switch yet, but it's the first time in years that i've even considered it. That's already saying a lot.

I think I'm done with Live. I don't use it for it's time stretching abilities. I love it's work flow, but enough is enough. They beat their chests like they're some sort of leader... yet they are not. OK, maybe forgive them for not adopting the MPE standard yet (though I truly don't buy that) but filtering out poly pressure... now we're just talking stupidity. I picked up a Rise 49 and I'm absolutely in love with it, but now I'm fighting my DAW? Maybe it's time to download the Bitwig demo. Sorry Ableton. I've loved you for 6 versions, but enough is enough.

+ 1000000000 etc.

MPE and VST3 need to be a priority!

Now if only Bitwig had live's racks. then it would be an easy choice.

Surely Ableton can't ignore that demand,as competitors certainly won't...

I had a reply from Ableton support that MPE support isn't currently planned. Their suggestion is, if we want this feature we should up vote it on the beta site. I recommend all of us that want this, do what their support suggests. It takes two minutes to register with their beta site here: https://ableton.centercode.com/welcome/

Then once you have an account, login and click on Live 9 and suggestions.

There are two MPE related suggestions

SUG-1678 (created a year ago) with 28 upvotes: https://ableton.centercode.com/project/ ... ee7537053a

and

SUG-0982 (created 2 years ago) with 38 upvotes https://ableton.centercode.com/project/ ... D}&a=v&t=1

If you want MPE support then please make your voice heard!
