Mute selected parts of a loop in the arrangement view

So for example lets say you got a midi shaker loop in certain places of your arrangement.
When you want to change the rhythm during the course of arranging, you have to do so as many times as you have
the loop in your arrangement, BUT if you could have a single loop that lasts from start to finish of your song and you'd just mute it
when you don't want it to play, you could alter the loop very easily for the whole song. That'd be really nice.
I think it's possible in Logic.

Afaik you can only deactivate the whole clip, not just parts of it.
