You already added the 64 pad mode for live triggering drumracks. It would be nice to have 64 pads for the step sequencer too.
You could select other sounds with the shift key. When you hold or press* it you see the 64 sounds instead of 64 steps.
In the same way you can do it in the original mode, you can hold the select key in addition to the shift key to select a sound without triggering it.
It would also make sense do add the shift function to the 64 pad live triggering mode to get to the step sequencer.
*That could be an option in the preferences. So you either hold OR press depending on you setting.
Or you can do both (Launchpad Pro Style). You hold it to switch temporarily or press to switch completely.

64 pad step sequencing would be fantastic! Bonus would be with the ability to use a second controller to select the note. But shift key would be great too, esp. to select from 64 note Drum rack to 64 step sequencer.
