This may not be the right place to ask but...
I've pulled down the github ableton has for ableton link and am having some issues compiling under windows.
https://github.com/Ableton/link
I'm using visual studio 2017, I got the project to load using cmake (pointing it at the directory then vs did its thing and built a solution and projects) but when it made the project it left out a lot of include files. I tried to add some manually and through properties->VC++ directories->Include directories
Anyone else working with this?
I'd like to port the protocol to C# anyone done this?
Is there a good tech doc out by ableton explaining the protocol? I mean I could spend a ton of time digging through the C++ but it would be nice to know what needs to be in the UDP packets for it to work and make it easier for people to port to different languages.
(are there any technical discussion groups people know about who are working with this, couldn't find much out there)
Thanks!

Re: Ableton Link on github question
I'm not sure, I'd think because Ableton is propriety software they "don't want you to do that/make it so you can't do that".
You are essentially compiling from source and tweaking the code some?
