Hi Guys,
wouldn't it make sense to use the 4x4 finger drum rack mode to play 16 pitches of a selected sound by using the 'layout' function? ie. play notes of your percussion hits on the bottom right 4x4 pads? the velocity 'layout' is similar in behaviour... (this is also what is a great feature of the DSI Tempest and Octatrack)
and as added behaviour the touchstrip can be used as pitch bend - which would be much more usefull than for selecting drum racks.
Octave up and down buttons can be used for navigating trough drum racks - which they already do btw.
How cool would that be for live performance?

What's the point of using Drum Rack here at all? You can simply load Simpler with a sample and play it at any pitch you want, especially if you own pad controller.
