i wonder if its possible?...because its possible to adjust note length, pianoroll pitch and position with shortcuts.

i often use keyboard shortcuts...so it would be useful to adjust note velocity with e.g. hold alt+arrow key down/up

phil-ip beats, Did you ever figure this out? I'm surprised no one has replied. I can't find the shortcut ANYWHERE ! I want to use arrow keys... any ideas?
Thanks,
Brad

Why is it still not possible in live 11 to adjust velocity of selected note via alt+down/up ?[

I have seen they added the possibility to adjust the velocity with keyboard shortcut when you select the velocity marker, but you have to select the velocity marker with the mouse. WTF?

please ableton!!! i is a free shortcut that would fit perfet in the workflow!!!

please add this shortcut for velocity for selected note(s): alt+down/up

Just being sure you know that you can now just type in a value when a note/notes are selected.

@jonljacobi: I did actually not know this so thank you for the tip! :D Typing the value does however set all selected notes to the same value, which is useful in some cases but not what I was looking for here. I want to be able to increase/decrease the velocity relative to the current value, just like using the up and down arrows in the velocity lane, but for notes selected in the piano roll.

Looking for something similar. Swear this was capable in previous versions, before 10 and onward.
I remember using Alt key on windows then the draw pen would vanish, and you were free to use the arrow up dn keys to adjust velocity.

You probably know this one, but with selected notes, you can then cmd+drag up and down on a note. That increases/decreases relative velocity of all selected notes.

Intuitively, then, it would make sense to have cmd+down/up arrow do the same thing as the drag method above. Yet they rarely go the extra mile with the UI workflow for some reason.

Yeah i totally agree. Not sure why they got rid of this very useful and quick shortcut.
But yeah, it indeed was possible in previous versions.

You can do it in L12.
