Before pre-ordering Live 10 it'd be nice to know wether video will still be supported in the upcoming upgrade? Probably no need to worry, but since the Ableton team hasn't really put video functionality on a high prio, I'm getting a little nervous that the software is heading another direction and simply letting go of the video functionality. Which would be a major disaster for me
So - anyone in the loop - do you know anything about video in Ableton 10?

No worries, it's still there of course.

Yepp, great to hear, thanks for the answers!
A way to route video out from Ableton Live (via syphon, via Max et cetera...) - that would be a dream come true. Anyone out there who knows if that dream might come true for Ableton 10?

I use cccp codec pack for Win10 64 bit, works here. Maybe delete QuickTime and vlc player if installed.

QuickTime is not supported anymore by Apple for Windows.

Good shout about the video into M4L, sort of like a native syphon. then you could process it / use syphon or spout to get it out of m4l.
I was hoping for syphon support but by the sounds of it, no luck yet. Im guessing they are focusing on core features in Live 10 and Max 8 at the moment. lets hope for a point release...
