accurate gain reduction indication on compressor

The GUI based feedback is nice, but I'd prefer if there was also a numerical value of gain reduction displayed with or over the graphical display.

The ableton live manual even references a specific numerical value of gain reduction https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/live- ... reference/
a gain reduction above 6 dB or so might produce the desired loudness, but significantly alters the sound
Yet there's no way to tell if you're getting 6dB of gain reduction in ableton. This is a really, really basic, essential feature in a compressor. I'm forced to use 3rd party compression until this gets added.
