MIDI Effect Plugin support for AU or VST

Post by nonchai » Fri Mar 02, 2018 6:07 pm

Logic currently supports MIDI Effect AU plugins.

On iOS AUM and a few DAWs are starting to support MIDI effect plugins.

Isn't it time Ableton supported them too ?

AFAIK Live supports VST MIDI plug-ins. I'm not sure why not the AU variety.
Make some music!

Really!?
Can we have a MIDI FX VST followed by a Instrument VST or stock plugin in the same channel.
I don't think so and it is such a pity!

I need 2 channels instead of one in order to have my VST MIDI FX and my instrument to play together!!!!

Ableton Live 11 still doesn't support AU Midi Effects. How hard can this be to fix?

Fluid Pitch plugin is a MIDI effect and for the polyphonic pitchbending, you need to use their standalone app because Ableton Live does not support MIDI effects + transparent multichannel MIDI routing between plugins.
