Hidden grid behind audio clips in arrangement view

I'm confounded as to why they removed this feature with Live 10. It's really annoying that I can only see the grid when I've selected a specific clip.
I primarily arrange breaks in audio and how tight or loose they are is an essential part to the sound and there should at least be an option to change the default of being able to see them or not :s
Edit: I noticed that other DAWs like Logic have the grids hidden behind clips also, but really felt that this was a feature that made me love Live 9 and prefer it over other DAWs
