Ability to define a stop point in Arrangement

Post by Supersport » Fri Oct 19, 2018 7:43 pm

I've seen a few hacks for how to create a stop track via MIDI routing etc. but it seems rather basic to have a simple and direct way to define where the "end" of my track or set is (if I want). In Logic Pro X you simply drag a bracket that sits at the end of the measure counter to where you want it. When the playhead reaches it play stops.

Maybe this could be in the form of a similar bracket, or an alternate marker perhaps in the shape of a square instead of a play symbol. As it is now, when I play a set I mixed in Live, once the music ends, Live will just keep playing forever. Same for my produced tracks, even though they're only 5-7 minutes long, but if I don't press stop the Overview will just keep getting smaller and smaller.
