Make MIDI Mappings Saveable to Instrument/Drum Racks

Please make it possible to save Midi Mappings to racks so I can use said racks in different projects.

Why is this not a thing??

Let's say I have a controller nicely mapped to send CCs to Wavetable, and that Wavetable instrument is inside an instrument rack, and then I want to use a different Wavetable patch...I can't somehow load up a new patch and keep the MIDI mappings intact?

+1 for this. It would be nice to be able to just drag a pre-mapped instrument or load MIDI profiles.

As a workaround, I keep every MIDI-mapped instrument and effect in my default template and trim it down each session. This causes a lot of unnecessary work just to start a session, though.

You can do this with ClyphX Pro and the new Bindings Add on....

I've never used Clyphx before: what effort and how long do you think it will take
to be able to do that kind of mapping?

Could one also save different mappings of Ableton interface and "load" one in the
middle of an existing project?

Thanks.

Yes, you send a BIND command with the new mapping
